This pathway training has been developed in conjunction with the Emergency Relief sector and is both an introduction and refresher course for workers and volunteers in ER.  The training is ideal for those providing immediate financial or material support to people in financial crisis including: Case managers, co-ordinators and volunteers Working across areas such as: Crisis and/or emergency support, homelessness, mental health, vulnerable families, problem gambling, family violence, complex needs, marginalised communities, CALD and Indigenous peoples. The course consists of 9 modules from an introduction to and understanding of ER work to; developing empathy, respect and diversity, assessing needs, worker/volunteer self-care, talking about money and fraudulent behaviours and required actions.  The modules range from 25-40 mins long with downloadable resources available in each one.  Please Note: Purchase of this course gives access for one person only to complete the training.  It is not a multi-use course for additional people in your organisation.  Discounts are available for enrolments of 5 people or more. There is a quick quiz at the beginning to check your current level of knowledge.  This is to help understand what you know before starting the course and does not count as an assessment.
